Therapy Intensives

Go Beyond the Weekly Therapy Hour

Therapy Intensives provide dedicated time to move into work that creates lasting change.

Whether you're healing from trauma, strengthening or making decisions about your relationship, or untangling long-standing patterns that keep you stuck, an intensive allows us to slow down, stay with what matters, and make meaningful progress without stopping just as the work begins.

Every intensive is tailored to your unique goals and integrates evidence-based, experiential approaches that engage both the mind and body.

Rather than relying solely on conversation, we incorporate somatic practices, brain-based interventions, emotion-focused work, to help create lasting change—not just insight.

How it works:

Before Your Intensive

Depending on your needs, we may schedule a 60-minute planning session before your intensive. This meeting allows us to clarify goals, answer questions, ensure the intensive is the right fit, and collaboratively create a roadmap for our work together.

Before the intensive, you'll complete questionnaires and reflection exercises designed to clarify your goals and provide important background information. Your therapist reviews this material in advance, identifies themes and treatment targets, and develops a personalized plan for your intensive so we can begin with intention rather than spending valuable session time gathering information.

During Your Intensive

Intensive timeframe varies based on your goals and relationship with the therapist. Formats include:

  • Four hour session

  • Three hour session

Depending on what you accomplished, you may benefit from multiple intensive- such as two, three hour sessions.

Together we'll move beyond insight into active therapeutic work using approaches tailored to your goals. Throughout the experience, we'll integrate somatic interventions, brain-based therapies, emotional processing, nervous system regulation and practical coping strategies to help create meaningful and lasting change.

After Your Intensive

Your therapist continues working after the session ends. Following your intensive, you'll receive individualized recommendations, resources, and strategies to help integrate the work into everyday life. Your therapist also spends time documenting the session, reflecting on treatment, and creating personalized follow-up recommendations to support continued growth long after the intensive is over.

The Healing Intensive

Trauma can leave the nervous system stuck in survival mode, making it difficult to feel safe, connected, or fully present.

While weekly therapy can be incredibly effective, some experiences benefit from uninterrupted time that allows us to fully process rather than repeatedly starting and stopping.

The Healing Intensive is designed for adults who are ready to address the impact of trauma, distressing memories, or experiences that continue to influence their emotions, relationships, and daily life. Together, we'll identify the experiences that continue to hold emotional charge, process them safely, and strengthen your nervous system's capacity for regulation and resilience.

Treatment is individualized and may incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Prolonged Exposure (PE), somatic interventions, emotion-focused work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based trauma treatments to support healing.

The Relationship Intensive

Creating new directions through focused, intentional work…

Relationships can become stuck in repetitive cycles that leave both partners feeling unheard, disconnected, or alone. A weekly therapy hour can sometimes feel like just enough time to describe the problem before the session ends.

The Relationship Intensive provides approximately three hours of uninterrupted time to slow down, understand your relationship patterns, and explore new ways of connecting. Together, we'll identify the relational cycles and roles that keep you stuck, strengthen emotional safety, and practice new ways of responding to one another in real time. Rather than focusing only on resolving a particular conflict, an intensive creates space to understand what is happening beneath the surface and consider what each partner needs in order to move forward. Our work is collaborative and grounded in the understanding that relationships—and the people within them—change over time. We will explore new ways of connecting that are in alignment with who you are today, as well as the needs of your relationship. An intensive can also support couples who are uncertain about the future of their relationship. For couples considering whether to stay together, discernment work can provide space to slow down, gain clarity, and thoughtfully explore the possibilities ahead. For couples who are moving toward separation, an intensive can offer support in navigating that process with greater clarity, compassion, and care.

Treatment draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), somatic interventions, attachment theory, and other evidence-based couples approaches to help partners move from conflict and disconnection toward greater understanding, emotional safety, and secure connection.'

The Clarity Intensive

Sometimes the greatest obstacle isn't knowing what to do—it's feeling stuck in your own mind.

Whether you're navigating perfectionism, self-criticism, relationship patterns, people-pleasing, body image concerns, a major life decision, or feeling disconnected from yourself, The Clarity Intensive offers space to slow down, understand what's keeping you stuck, and move forward with greater confidence and self-trust.

Together, we'll explore the patterns, themes and beliefs underlying your struggles—not just the symptoms. Rather than trying to think your way out of the problem, we'll work to help you reconnect with your emotions, values, body, and authentic sense of self.

Treatment is individualized and may incorporate Brainspotting, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic interventions, and other experiential approaches that help create meaningful, lasting change.
